Kumio Murayama Sensei 8th Dan Shihan
      Began training in the Shito-ryu system in 1962 whilst at Toyo university under

     the direction of Master Manzo Iwata. He went on to become captain and coach

     of the university karate team.In 1968 Master Iwata invited him to become

     Uchi-Deshi (live in student) During this period he also gained his teaching

     certificate directly from Master Iwata.In 1970 Murayama Sensei moved to Mexico

     to develop Shito-Ryu Karate in that part of the world.Murayama

     Sensei now runs a full time facility in San Pedro and teaches students fromMexico,

     Costa Rica, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Canada, USA & united kingdom

     all under the banner of Shito-Kai Murayama Karate Organisation
